Slay the Dragon III - April 16-18, 2010

Hey folks, we've got it worked out with the Iron Horse, the official dates for this years ride is April 16-18, 2010.

We camp at the Iron Horse Motorcycle Lodge. The accommodations are great, you can tent camp or get a cabin or a bunkhouse. The food is good. It's a beautiful spot and they took really good care of us the past 2 years, especially helping Bob out after he took a spill. Check them out here:

As of March 9, 2010...

Iron Horse only had tent spots and not a lot of them. The Deal's Gap Motorcycle Resort has more space this weekend, we're moving down the road. It's great news, the DMMR is the ideal spot, right on the dragon. This means we may get another 3-4 more runs per day in just because of that. www.dealsgap.com

Same great weekend, maybe even better. PM me for info, or post questions here. We only had 4 Buells the first year, 6 last year. It feels like we could have 15-20 this time. Woo hoo! There's buzz is picking up here and all the other Buell forums.

UPDATE - HWY129, the Dragon, is closed (as of March 19)

That's right, the Dragon was shut down by a rock slide, but really the bastards at TDOT. We are still on, there are *tons* of great roads in the area. We usually don't head north, but we'll do the Devil's Triangle this year, it's as good as the Dragon.
