Text Box: I’m a crack fiend! There’s no other way to describe it. Just call me a dirty, whorish, nasty little man with an addiction. Nay, an affliction! Yeah that’s it, I have an affliction. Addictions can be overcome with a little work. But an affliction, now there’s a diagnosis with some substance. It takes some hard work and actually trying to overcome something like that-assuming you’d want to. It’s Christmas morning and just after 6 am. Yes that’s right I’m up at the crack of dawn and it ain’t because I’m excited about opening presents. As a current member of the armed forces, 4:30 and 5:00 am wakeup calls are the norm. Even for a child giddish about Christmas morning I’d be ok. But right now my thoughts aren’t filled with sugar plumbs or what cool radio controlled car I’m getting. Right now my veins are flowing enthusiastically and my heart is still pumping 100 bpms. In my mind dances an image that is never far from soul. You might even say it’s not far from my eyes. I can’t let it; I am, after all, a man with an affliction lest I have to remind you again. Text Box: Afflicted not addicted
