Text Box: Just so all other Buell enthusiasts aren’t left out the flagshipThunderstorm engine is ripe with updates to include advanced performance of its “air/oil/fan-cooled V-Twin engine series with a larger crank pin, an improved oiling system, and a new electronic timing system and ECM that controls an all new DDFI 3 fuel injection system.”

For 2008 the only other model with specific updates is the XB12X Ulysses adventure sportbike now offered with a new “off-set 47 mm Steering sweep is increased from 54 to 74 degrees for improved low-speed off-road maneuverability, and the Ulysses now comes with standard heated hand grips.”
Still not satisfied with what 2008 has to bring? Then something is seriously wrong with you.
But rest assured Mr. Erik Buell cares for each and every one of you and to coincide with Buell’s 25th anniversary he’s equipping all 2008 Text Box: bikes (except the Blast) with a badge marking the milestone!
This milestone couldn’t have come soon enough. Because now each and everyone of us has an excuse to take a road trip July 6-8th.
Why not? You know you’ve been dying to visit East Troy, Michigan. And what better reason than to partake of the highlights marking Buell’s 25th year.
“…For 2008, we will be marking a major milestone, so we want the Buell 25th Anniversary celebration to be very special and to reflect the unique personality of the Company and our riders.”
What greater compliment could a motorcycle owner receive from the builder of his bike
Can’t recall the last time Mr. Honda, Yamaha or Suzuki commented on your ownership
Yeah, neither can I. What better way to show your appreciation than by supporting the festivities at the Buell factory
Events planned for the Buell 25th Anniversary will include music and festivities at Milwaukee’s Summerfest Grounds, racing, plant tours, bike displays, demo rides, stunt shows, dealership activities and you can bet much more.
The owner’s section of www.buell.com has all the Text Box: additional information and updates you’ll need.
Let’s just say for example that you aren’t able to get away from your micro-managing boss to roadtrip up to East Troy but you still want a piece of the action.
How and what will you do to appease this enthusiastic drive like no other?
First things first; you must get to the Buell website and register online where you’ll receive updates and news for 2008 events.
If it involves Buell you’ll hear about it and likely there’ll be something going on at a dealership close to you or at a racetrack if you’re lucky enough to live within a day’s drive of one.
